Pilgrims flock to Vatican City in huge numbers!

Vatican News have reported that more than half a million pilgrims have already passed through the Holy Doors at St Peter’s Basilica in just the first 2 weeks of the 2025 Jubilee Year!

How do you join them?

You may like to register for a Rome/Assisi Pilgrimage. The Diocese of Broken Bay have partnered with Harvest for a trip in early October – details will be released soon on this website. If October doesn’t suit you, Fr David Ranson will be leading a pilgrimage group from the Chatswood Parish in November; initial information is available at the Our Lady of Dolours website event page.

Pilgrims to Rome are required to sign up for a Pilgrim Card in order to visit the Holy Doors and to register for various Jubilee Events throughout the year. There is also a special Visa available for Jubilee Pilgrims visiting Italy – more information is avialable on the Jubilee Website.

Pilgrims receive a personalised QR code and an account on the Jubilee App.

Pilgrims can then manage registration, booking modifications, cancelations, requests for special access requirements for disabilities through the App.

You can sign up for a Pilgrim Card and account at the Jubilee Portal, or download the IUBILAEUM25 App:

Whether you book your pilgrimage with a Diocese or Parish Group, or decide to go it alone, you will need to register to be able to attend events and walk through the doors when you get there.
