On the Feast of the Holy Family, 29th December 2024, Bishop Anthony Randazzo formally opened the Holy Year of Jubilee in the Diocese of Broken Bay as directed by Pope Francis in the Papal Bull of Indiction Spes non confundit, #6.

Representatives from many parishes across the Diocese attended. Each parish received the gift of a beautiful Jubilee Candle in a presentation at the end of the Mass.
